SSP Health News - Race for Life

The staff here at the practice are running/ walking in the race forlife again on 18th June 2008.  Last year we raised a magificent
£810.00 donations were received from doctors, staff and patients at the Bowery.

The girls walked with in memory of patients, staff and their relatives of the Bowery Medical Centre and even got a special mention on the stage
on the race night - St Helens local paper also took photos and did a little editorial on the website but unfortunately it didnt make the
papers!

We have set ourselves a target this year of £1000.00 and have already commenced advertising! The staff have also been seen by numerous patients
training for the run either circling sherdley park or running down the Rainford bypass.

All funds raised are in aid of Cancer Research UK which touches all our hearts and lives here at the practice.
