Following our recent patient survey, we have adapted our appointment system to offer a range of appointments to suit all patients.
This includes............
- Booking appointments up to 4 weeks in advance
- Same Day appointments
- Daily Drop In Clinics between 12pm and 2pm where you are guaranteed to see a GP
- Pre-booked appointments until 7.30pm on a Monday and Wednesday Evening
- Pre-booked appointments on a Saturday morning

Minor Surgery
Our Practice Nurse Sue holds a Minor Surgery clinic very 3rd Wednesday between 10.00am and 11am by appointment only.
Travel Vaccinations
Going abroad? Give us a call and we will find out what vaccines you need and then book you to have them.
We are also a registered Yellow Fever Centre, licensed to administer yellow fever vaccinations to both registered and non-registered patients. There is a charge for this service.
Childhood Immunisations
You will receive an appointment for any childhood immunisations for a Wednesday morning between 9am and 12pm.
Child Health Surveillance
The Health Visitors are available at the surgery on a Tuesday afternoon between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, or they can be contacted at Ashton Clinic on 01942 775300.
Post-Natal examinations and 7 week baby checks are done at the surgery on a Thursday morning. Contact reception to arrange an appointment.
Ante-Natal
The Midwives are here every Thursday between 1.30pm and 3pm, if you have just find out you a pregnant it is important you book in with the Midwife as soon as possible so that can arrange for your 12 week scan and get you booked in at the hospital. To book an appointment, please contact reception.
Cervical Screening
The NHS Cervical Screening Programme invites all women between the ages of 25 and 64 for cervical screening either 3 yearly or 5 yearly depending on your age. When you receive a letter in the post, please contact the surgery to make an appointment.

Blood Tests
Blood TestingThe practice will supply you with a blood form if you need a blood test, this will either be given to you at surgery or will be sent to you in the post as part of our Annual Review recall system.
You will need to contact the surgery between 7 to 10 days later to receive the results of your blood test and find out what you need to do next.

Offers healthcare advice and treatment without having to make an appointment, take time off or rearrange your day. You can find it located in the last building to the left hand side of the main entrance at Leigh Infirmary. It is open from 07.00am in the morning to 9.00pm at night, seven days a week.
