GP AppointmentsWe offer 2 ways to book appointment pre-bookable and book on the day. You can book appointments up to 1 week ahead. Each week appointments are released on a Friday afternoon. Book on the day appointments are released at 8.30am that day.
Nurse Appointments
Nurse AppointmentsCervical Smear Test
We offer this service to all women between the ages of 25 and 65 and is taken by our Practice Nurse. It is recommended that a smear test is carried out either 3yearly or 5 yearly depending on your age.

Well persons checks
Well Women check eg, smears, contraceptive advice (late evening on Monday from 5.30pm - 7.15pm) appointments only
Young Persons clinic - once per month on Monday evenings 5.30pm - 7.15pm appointments only
We are lucky enough to have attached to our surgery a mental health worker. She provides excellent advice, she is along the lines of a counsellor, however if she feels that you need more specialist input she will arrange an appointment for a counsellor or a referral to the hospital. This is not a drop in clinic you need to be referred from the GP.

We hold a baby clinic on alternate Thursdays between 10.30am and 12.00. The Health Visitor is also available during these clinics. Please telephone the surgery to arrange an appointment.
Antenatal Clinic
By appointment on Monday afternoons, please telephone the surgery for further information.
Blood Tests
Blood TestingThe practice will supply you with a blood form if you need a blood test, this will either be given to you at surgery or will be sent to you in the post as part of our Annual Review recall system.
You will need to contact the surgery between 7 to 10 days later to receive the results of your blood test and find out what you need to do next.

DirectionsFrom Bootle area -Turn onto Knowsley Road, carry on down Knowsley Road to the very bottom then at the T junction turn Right A565 -Keep to the left hand lane and continue to roundabout (under the fly over) at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Princess Way A5036 -When on princess way take the 1st exit left onto Rawson Road -Continue down Rawson Road crossing Claremont Road -Continue on and you will pass Sandunes Nursery on the right, continue forward and the surgery is just on the right hand side opposite shops the Doric public house From Litherland area -Follow direction to Gorsey Lane/Sefton Road, B5422 in the direction as if you were travelling to city centre -When at the end of Sefton Road turn left at the roundabout, then at the traffic light (not pedestrian lights) turn right on to dual carriageway A5036 -Go over the flyover then at roundabout continue straight on, which takes you onto Princess Way A5036 -Go straight down princess way to the end, at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A5036 Princess Way, take the 1st exit left on to Rawson Road -Continue straight down Rawson road, over Claremont Road passed Sandunes Nursery were we are situation on the right opposite shops and the Doric public house.
Travelling from Crosby/Thornton - A565 which in a continuation from Formby Bypass -Continue forward on Liverpool Road following signs for Liverpool city centre -You will pass the following landmarks, Merchant Taylors School on the right hand side, straight on through the traffic lights; you will pass Crosby Plaza on the right hand side, carry straight on through the traffic lights. Continue forward and you will pass fire station on the right side, you will come to a set of pedestrian light just after the lights take your first turining on the left into Sandringham Road -Continue to the end of Sandringham Road then turn right onto Cambridge Road, take you first turning left which Rawson Road -Continue for roughly 150yds, the surgery is on the left hand corner. We do not have a car park but there is adequate parking on Rawson Road or Doric Street.
Travelling from motorway M57 & M58 When leaving the motorway follow direction to Seaforth Docks. Continue on until you reach the last roundabout which is under a flyover (as above), then follow the directions from the roundabout as stated above from Princess Way.

We are easily accessible from any public transport bus or train, below are a few bus numbers you can get to Rawson Road. Ask the bus driver to inform you when he reaches Cambridge Road/Crosby Road South. Walk up Cambridge Road and Rawson Road is in on the left hand side, turn up Rawson Road and we are situated roughly 150yds on the left hand side
From Bootle, New Strand, Stanley/Knowsley Road

Travelling by train
You can easily reach us by train, if you are coming from Liverpool or Southport. Get off the train at Seaforth/Litherland or Waterloo train stations. When getting off at Seaforth/Litherland train station there is a bus stop directly outside the train station you can get a bus from there. Get off the bus in Cambridge Road and walk about 100yds to the bottom of Rawson Road, we are roughly 150yrds up on the left hand corner. When getting off train at Waterloo train station, there is a bus depo outside. You can get any of the above buses from Crosby/Thornton. Get off the bus in Cambridge road, follow directions as above.

Out of HoursThe provider of our out of hours care is ICS - Integrated Care Sefton, they can be contacted on 0845 070 4422 from 18:30pm - 08:00am Monday - Friday and from 18:30pm Friday until 08:00am Monday morning.
