SSP Health is honoured to have been awarded a "Darzi" practice contract by Bolton PCT.

Bolton PCT selected SSP Health from many other applications nationwide. SSP Health has a history of delivering high quality care, using innovative and flexible methods, in five PCTs in the North West. 

SSP Health has been working productively within Bolton PCT since 2008. This followed a successful bid to deliver primary care services following a Department of Health led invitation to tender exercise.

The new "Darzi" service is planned to go live September 2009. It will have a special focus on screening patients to diagnose early and treat illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes and heart disease so that patients benefit from a better quality of life. Occupational health services will also be provided to help people recover and be fit to return to work.

SSP Health are delighted to have been given this opportunity to work in Bolton on such an exciting new project.
