We would like to apologise to all our patients for the continued problems you are facing in trying to contact our practice by phone.
Our staff are equally as frustrated that the telephone system is not functioning properly and giving you the service you should expect – or that our practice would want you to receive.
Unfortunately, resolving these issues is taking much longer than we expected. This is especially frustrating as we are now housed in the new Ashton Health Centre, which is a superb facility for our patients and the rest of the community.
We have escalated the issues to Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which is working with the telephone system providers to get the problems resolved as soon as possible. 
We have been assured that this is being treated as the highest priority and the CCG is pushing to get it sorted out.
