SSP Health Shortlisted For Innovation Award

GPs are often the first point of health care contact for people questioning their gender, and here at SSP Health, we understand that we play a vital role in making sure these patients receive the care they need, when they need it.

We've got some exciting news to share. Our brilliant team at the Garden City Medical Centre has just finished cycling from Lands' End to John o' Groats. Yes, that's a whopping 1,914 km! Over five weeks, with a bit of sweat and a lot of team spirit, we managed to raise £700. A big shoutout to our amazing patients who pitched in with their generous contributions.

We’re so proud to say that our amazing team has been nominated for the Innovation Award at the Healthcare Business Awards.

Following its newly received ‘outstanding’ rating from the CQC, Bolton General Practice, part of SSP Health, the largest federated GP network in the North West, welcomed MP for Bolton North East, Mark Logan to the practice to congratulate the team and find out more about the great work being done

As a result of the squeeze on charitable giving during the pandemic, a group of seven GP practices based in the Wigan area have stepped in and raised £9500 for a total of 9 charities across the North West over the past 6 months.
